As a born-and-raised Chicagoan living in LA, I’ve accepted a lot of things—traffic, earthquakes, and people calling anything with marinara and cheese “Chicago pizza.” But I never accepted that I’d have to give up real tavern-style pizza… until I found Chicago Stuffed Pizza Co. The real ones will know that the Chicago pizza is tavern-style! The pizza is everything it’s supposed to be: ultra-thin, perfectly crispy, cut into squares (because we’re civilized), loaded with quality toppings, and packed with that unmistakable Chicago flavor. It tasted like home. And let’s talk about the deep dish. This isn’t some tourist gimmick or casserole pretending to be pizza. It’s the real deal—flaky buttery crust, rich sauce, gooey cheese, and enough flavor to make any homesick Chicagoan tear up a little. Also, Tommy, one of the owners, is amazing—funny, welcoming, and he brings that perfect Chicago charm that makes the whole place feel even more legit. You can tell he gets it. We’re not from the area and wanted to try authentic Chicago-style pizza while visiting. This place definitely lived up to the hype! The pizza was amazing, the staff was super friendly, and the service was great. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the LA area. Highly recommend!

This was our first time trying Chicago-style stuffed pizza, and overall it was a good experience. The pizza was tasty, though I'm not totally sure it's my style — I'd be curious to try it again with different ingredients to see if it grows on me. The place itself is nice, the staff were kind, and it has a great Chicago vibe that made the visit fun.

10/10 not simply for the amazing pizza but a place that chills water for you and serves it to you while you eat. It felt like eating a good old pizza at home :) Definitely stop by and the prices were not as expensive and they filled us up to the brim! And I still had left overs! The aesthetic of the place is amazing as well. Go go go check them out 🍕

My partner and I were feeling a little homesick, so we decided to order Chicago deep dish, and it absolutely hit the spot. It’s been tough finding pizza on the West Coast that lives up to what we know back home, because Chicago pizza is just in a class of its own. This place did not disappoint. Tommy was kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even better. The pizza was delicious, and the wings were fantastic as well. The only reason I held back from giving 5 stars across the board is that I would have loved just a little more sauce under the cheese. Aside from that, it was an excellent meal, and we will definitely be back. This is one of those places that Keith Lee needs to check out on his next trip to LA county.
